Have you tried these unhinged breakup distractions?

I’m not asking about positive affirmations or taking a painting class.
I’m talking about the most unhinged, insane ways you’ve distracted yourself and helped heal from this kind of despair.
I’m talking about the kind of stuff that this chick in the picture did - it’s the “thank you next” trend about exes and she literally became a Buddhist monk.
Dramatic physical changes might be difficult for me but let’s hear it.

Have you tried these unhinged breakup distractions?

i once booked a completely random solo trip because i knew sitting at home stalking my ex was going to destroy me. i came back with terrible photos, a sunburn and way fewer thoughts about him 😂

i feel this so hard. what's the MOST unhinged thing you've seriously considered doing since the breakup?

I’ve kind of spiralled by getting into a whole bunch of new hobbies, keeping my plate really full rn. In the past I’ve tried to move on really quickly but this one hit me like a ton of bricks and I don’t think I’ll be interested in a new relationship soon (if ever). I’ve even cut off friends who were stressing me out and that’s saying something because I had like 3 friends to start off with.
I’m willing to be pretty unhinged if something has worked for others though.

went through a phase where i changed my hair, deleted every photo, rearranged my whole room at 2am and basically reinvented my daily routine. dramatic? absolutely. did it get me through the worst weeks? yep.

Lowkey my room is a disaster. Not like in the depressive episode way, in the long-term hoarder pile up kind of way. It’s my childhood bedroom so it’s got decades of trinkets 😅
I wouldn’t even know where to start with it but it might be something to look into.
