I saw my ex in person with her boyfriend. I didn’t care anymore. I went up to them and said hey and she walked away with her group following behind including her boyfriend. Upon seeing her, I realized I dont care anymore. I’m still thinking about it because I’m proud of myself doing the hard thing. Even waved at her parents to whom just looked the other way after seeing me. I know I’m not a bad guy so I won’t care if someone else decides to paint that picture. I’m living for Jesus and myself strictly. It took a grueling 3 months to get here but I finally made it.

i'm glad you walked away from that moment knowing who you are instead of chasing her reaction
when you say you don't care anymore, do you feel genuinely at peace with it now, or does seeing her and walking away still bring up a little something underneath?
weird moment when you finally see them with someone else and realize your chest doesn't cave in anymore. three months can feel like forever when you're hurting, so yeah, i'd be proud of that too.
Proud of you for being mature and able to put your feelings aside and show some respect by waving to her parents. You're doing great. You're doing the right thing. You got this. ❤️
it takes courage to confront an ex with their new relationship especially when we are still healing. thanks for sharing and we are inthis together with a common peril -- heartbreak and letting go of it
