i know that i have to stay true to my words when i told him i needed space but it’s been incredibly hard becuz i can’t go a day without thinking about or missing him. we never even dated, and somehow it hurts way more than my previous relationship. i want to be okay with missing him like a friend and not feel as much but it’s eating me alive. why do i feel sad for when im the one that can’t do friendship atm becuz there’s still attachment involved? the kiss did ruin everything. he told me he was trying to get things back to normal but why can’t i do the same? i want to talk to him so badly but ik how much i need a break from all of this. ik that i’ll reach out to him when i feel ready but what if he starts acting weird by then? or what if i’d be reluctant to do so?
why do i feel like the longer NC drags on the harder it’ll be to go back to being normal…

i had to learn that missing someone doesn’t mean i have to talk to them. when i stopped treating every day of no contact like another step away from them, the ache slowly became something i could carry without acting on it.
i feel the fear underneath this too, but do you think you’re more afraid of losing him completely, or of going back to him before you’ve had enough distance to know what you actually want?
i think it’s a bit of both
missing someone so badly while knowing i was the one who asked for space. that kind of attachment hurts like hell, especially when there was never a real relationship to give you closure.
