you actually want to talk to him, or do you just want this horrible feeling of missing him to stop for a little while?
i’d wait before texting him, honestly. when i was this overwhelmed, i wrote everything i wanted to say in my notes and left it there for a while, because i knew i was reaching for relief more than a real conversation.
i’ve had that exact feeling, like my whole body was telling me to text my ex just because i missed him. i’d feel sick and restless until i gave in, then regret it almost immediately
this is the stage that can be the hardest. The first person you want to reach out to is him. Now that its over, your nervous system has to get used to not reaching out anymore. It can make you feel empty and agitated.
If you want to text him you have 2 choices. First is to text him. But be prepared for not getting what you want. A response calms you, a hurtful response hurts you, no response hurts you. Second choice is to not text him. You give yourself power by ignoring the urge to reach out. You can finally train yourself to not automatically think of him when you reach for your phone. You slowly teach yourself to move forward without him. No contact works
I know missing someone can be really hard… but sometimes, not reaching out is exactly what helps you start healing. Give yourself time ❤️🩹
don't try to make a contact....somehow resist...time heals everything ❣️
