He really messaged me out of the blue, second time too during NC, right when my life has been just aligning itself and opening back up to me in ways I never thought were possible, he messages me.
I havent responded, haven't even opened the message too, so that its left on read, just read what he said through notifications and thats that.
I'm disappointed. After months of silence, he messages me as if we're cool or "friends," like he doesn't know he left me devastated, heart broken, abandoned. No, "hey can we talk," "im sorry about what happened," I've had to do all this hard ass work to get myself back on track and heal. To move on. Its so incredibly frustrating now. I thought that I would be so happy to hear from him, so excited to know I have the clarity I needed to know he still "cares." Honesty, I wish he didn't message me at all, I wish he stayed silent and just didn't bother me. He's done so much damage and has no clue to any of it.
Just so disappointed.

leaving that message unread in your notifications is the ultimate power move, keep it right there. when my ex did that, i muted his thread completely so i wouldn't be forced to see his name pop up and wreck my day every time he felt lonely.
did seeing his name make you want to break no contact at all, or did it just make you completely disgusted with his lack of an apology?
Just disappointed, I was thinking of atleast giving a small message back because I dont agree on ignoring your ex or ghosting, but i just dont see the point now. If it isnt about repair or taking accountability, all thats going to happen is, I reply = months of silence again. Might as well say nothing at all.
honestly i felt so much pride reading how you handled that notification. i remember my ex casually dropping a "hey stranger" text after leaving me in pieces, and that sudden wave of anger and disappointment almost knocked me flat on my face. you worked way too hard for your peace to let him slide back in acting like nothing happened.
Definitely worked too hard. I could literally feel my nervous system at peace now and im not trading that for the uncertainty of decoding or reading into what it means that he messaged me, and if I reply, if he'll even message me back. Not worth it.
me too I hope he won’t message me again his fine i know that his talking to someone else i can feel it
I feel you there. I have no idea who he's messed around with or if he's even talking to someone new after MONTHS of silence. He can just stay away.
@xoxoboi I admit i was wrong not telling him about my work rendering cos the company policy but he left and said that i’m no different girls. Called me names, Use my weakness. But when he did something behind my back i did not leave him and understand him. And when i did 1 small mistake he left me without hearing my words. Unfair his unfair
You feel so ?
Very freeing. I thought id be happy to hear from him, atleast know he still thinks of me, but now I could care less for a simple check in. If theres no accountability he can just stay silent.
