I know that what we had was true until some point, but i guess it wasn't something as deep for him. He ended things in a sh*tty, avoidant way and made me question everything. I always felt deeply, he was my first relationship too, and I know its gonna hurt... but I'm exhausted!
The fact that its easier for him to flirt, talk to another girl makes me sick. Even though I know I deserve better, only the thought of another boy makes me feel guilty now.
I feel so desperate and dumb when I post for him to see and regret loosing me... I shoudnt have him on insta, especially because he doesn't care and it doesn't matter. He isn't coming back empathetic. I just want justice.

ik.. i was in the same situation 6 months back.. i also kept posting amazing pics for him to interact but everyone BUT him reacted.. he avoided on purpose and chose to avoid.. i also felt extremely desperate.. nowadays i dont post as much but im still desperate for him to come back.. im not able to move on
I relate to this so much and honestly the emotional exhaustion is so real.I think the hardest part is accepting that you might never get the justice or regret you wanted.
i had to stop giving my ex little chances to witness my life because every post became secretly about getting a reaction. deleting that access hurt at first, but the peace that came after was real.
I had to do this too

hecking whether my ex noticed my posts and then feeling stupid for caring so much. mine moved through things way faster than i could, and damn, watching that made me feel like everything we had meant less to them than it did to me.
do you think some of that pain is really wanting him to finally understand how deeply he hurt you and regret the way he ended it?
yeah, exactly... but i know he's not that accountable or mature. That makes me feel even more dumb, that i still hope for this looser to realize
I feel this way about my now ex girlfriend
Do this: Crush it today! Do everything the best you can today. Not for him or to get him back. But, because you can! Virtual high five!
I know it'll get better for you because I know it has to get better for all of us
I hope so... be strongg
I am a man going through this with(?) my ex fiance, friends of 23 years. we both knew a distance relationship until the end of this school year would be difficult. but for her to take the past few years of very deep relationship and our friendship and let it go over a 15 min argument is painful. she "started smoking" (cigarettes) again... she started smoking in the designated area with her very next door, single male, apartment neighbor a few weeks ago. I am crushed. I gave it, is, and her everything of me
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I also recently broke up a relationship of almost 7 years, and the length of time makes it all the more difficult to let go. That long shared history is very hard to shake and I don't remember much about the days before he came into my life. In your case, your ex fiance did a very hurtful thing and that's a reflection on her and not you. It still hurts either way but I hope each day is lighter and brighter for you!
@JoyDream607 Thank you. Your words and thoughts help.
@JoyDream607 You too though. Even if you are "selfish" for a few weeks(?) Don't give in yet. Let time and space give you some clarity and peace. It's almost as if the more you want to reach out is also the more reason you should pause. Once the urge has calmed, that might be the right time. But, the urge should only calm, not "go away." if that makes sense. lastly don't let it go so long that your feelings for him are diminishing if that's not what you want to do. But, for some, that is the peace that they are looking for also. I don't know, does that make any sense?
