Throughout end of March - early June (when we broke up) me and my ex-gf had quite a lot of problems between us, the main one was she was overthinking that i was cheating on her during a 1 week break we had because I was talking to my best friend during that week who then later passed away a few weeks later.. I reassured her and even gave her proof that nothing was happening however she was still overthinking for months I didn't mind constantly reassuring her but it did get overwhelming when I knew I didn't do anything. We then broke up because of that and other things that happened in the relationship I wouldnt have minded if we had broken up because of the other reasons but bc of the cheating that never happened confuses me.. she told all her friends that I cheated 3 of them bad mouthed at me afterwards (this was late June). Back to 2 weeks after our breakup I find out she's talking to this much older guy (23 while she's 18) and it makes me think they were talking even before we broke up, there was a hate page made about me on TikTok about me "cheating" I see her now bf's comment that said "i agree with all of this" but surely she would've been the one cheating/being disrespectful if she was "getting to him" while I was with her? My online ex-bsf then lied to my ex-gf saying I "admitted" to the cheating which I didn't! i gave every proof i could i even gave my ex-gf my account to look through she literally found nothing but still thought i cheated. But with her getting with her now bf I'm assuming only a few weeks after our breakup surely that'd be her cheating on me not the other way around!? I hate being called a cheater when I know I'm not, I still feel sabotaged to this day.

awful feeling of being accused of something you KNOW you didn’t do. i had an ex tell people a completely different version of our breakup, and watching that story become “fact” to everyone hurt almost as much as losing them.
i get why you keep replaying the timeline. what helped me was accepting that i could prove my side a hundred times and still not control what someone chooses to believe, especially when other people are feeding the story.
she insecure she project she cheating to u she the one cheater u not wrong she lying cheater sorry happened send hug block report that page it's must be hard
i keep wondering about the part that hurts most for you now, is it that she believed you cheated, or that other people still see you as the cheater when you know what actually happened?
both of them hurt but I'd say probably that other people see me as a cheater
