i had to stop checking my ex’s socials because every repost gave me a new reason to feel worthless. i still had feelings for him, and i was hurting myself with things i couldn’t unsee.
i know that feeling of being replaced cuts deep, but can i ask you something? were you checking his reposts hoping to find something about you, or were you trying to prepare yourself for him moving on?
a lot of men get into a relationship straight away because they don’t know what else to do, they’re trying to fill the hole you left with him. you will grieve him now and by the time you are healed and over him he will only start grieving, women are a lot better with going head on into it to come out the other side, men on the other hand will find distraction after distraction until they are forced to stop and think, that’s when it will hit him
im so sorry. its hard to shake the feeling of "how could i be replaced so quickly?" but think of it this way.. they failed by replacing you! They lost you! They will regret it someday! and you will smile again!
