should I contact him and tell him or wait it out so he can context me an cause I was on call with his friend and he didn’t know and he said that he messed up and the friend was right he shouldn’t have broken up with me and he also said he missed me (it’s been 12 days since we broke up)

do you feel like he would actually say all of that directly to you, or does it only come out when you’re not in the room?
i wouldn’t reach out first. when i did that, it just gave him comfort without him actually stepping up, i had to sit back and let him show me with actions, not secondhand words
i heard the same thing through a mutual friend, that he “regretted it” and missed me, because it felt like hope but also nothing solid
I feel the same way and I still do miss him but I’m scared that if I go back to him he’ll hurt me again
