today is day 2 of no contact. I don’t feel the urge to text or call him. I deleted his contact and any traces of it. I blocked him on all socials. I just feel like my heart is heavy. when does the feeling of the heart heavy stop??

you feel more numb right now or more sad? day 2 for me was weird because the shock hadn’t fully worn off yet and then it all hit later.
the numbness is going down now I just feel sad there and there. I’m eating and drinking water now.

Don't time it . Healing is a process and has stages . Just focus on it and you'll get there eventually . Otherwise I would advice you to unblock him so that you don't live with the thought that " what if he tried reaching out ?" so you'll see that he tried / not and it will also help with discipline of you not reaching out to see that you are truly getting over him / the relationship
but then I stay monitoring his socials constantly
checking who he is following and if he is posting
I really don’t want to hurt myself more… so I would rather not see that any anymore. It’s been better not knowing at all.
it’s only day 2, that heavy chest feeling is SO real. i remember deleting everything too and still feeling like my body was carrying them around anyway. mine eased slowly, not all at once, but one day i realized i could breathe again without forcing it.
