is it true that they always come back , even if it’s not romantically . i just want to know if there is a chance i will ever speak to him again or if this is it for the rest of our lives.

i asked myself that same question for months. one ex never came back, another popped up years later out of nowhere.
Trust me they always come back when you are not the one who ended the relationship and you never cheated on them or If they left because of problems between you two so there is a good chance they will come back once they have had time to think about it
the point of NC to me is making sure I can be ok with the uncertainty. as someone who loves clarity it is very difficult to not know 😅
my ex came back after 2 months of no contact to offer friendship. I mistook missing him for being ready for friendship so we are back in NC. Every other ex I actually have never seen again. I believe the universe removed them completely because I had nothing to learn from them. Thank goodness because they were all toxic af
there is no true answer to that in most cases they do but perhaps by then you may have realized that they came back too late. or came to see if you still cared. think of the fact you want them to return now but what happens after a long time if they come back wouldn’t it feel a bit like they didn’t care you suffered without them?
