how do you guys deal with no contact when there are kids involved.
my ex came over as I have them blocked and brought the kids I’m guessing as leverage to get in.
I’m not sad at all as I saw the kids
for context kids not biologically mine but I am a great part of their life as me and ex were together for many years
however obviously I don’t have any rights
anyone else in my situation?
I feel a lot better from last Friday as I have let go of a fantasy where they come back my ex that is an focusing on their negatives
however the kids are not at fault and I miss them and they me

i helped raise my ex's little girl for years, then one breakup took her out of my life too. people kept telling me to just move on, but they didn't get that i was grieving the kids as much as the relationship.
this is such a tough spot. do you think your ex genuinely wants the kids to keep a relationship with you, or does it feel like they're only bringing them around when they want something?
I think they want me to be in their lives but it is on their terms.
