How do you stay in no contact when every fun thing you do is something you did with them? I’m only 2 days in and I’m DYING. Every instinct in my brain is screaming to message her 😭

day 2 is survival mode.
i'm only a little further ahead than you, but those first few days were BRUTAL. everything reminded me of him too, even grabbing coffee.
was there one thing today that hit you the hardest and made you want to message her, or is it just every little moment right now?
its really hard. it really is.
This is literally my own fault but it sucks so bad because I took too long to realize that I was wrong in both how I acted and my approach to recovery 😭
you find things that are fun for YOU. Even though the pain is fresh and raw and all you want is them next to you. Find the things that bring you joy and make you smile, as hard as it seems right now. The best thing I did was to go for long walks in nature, listening to all the sounds, breathing in the fresh air. Even just moving my body helped relieve some of the anxiety I was feeling
I usually walk but literally everything I have done for fun up to this point I made sure to include her in and I took up all her hobbies too so… It is so damn hard.
Also! It’s 100 out and I’ve been working in a building without AC all day so I need to wait to walk 😭
@Earthbound read a book or watch some healing podcasts. I enjoyed Mel Robbins and Jay Shetty when I was in my healing phase. Book I enjoyed The Book of Awakening by Mark Nepo, its good because you dont need a big attention span, you can read as much or as little you like
