I found this on a Facebook page called 'Wealthy girl' I thought id share it here so I could come back to it and maybe just maybe it'd help someone too.
EVERYTIME I WANT TO TEXT HIM, I REREAD THESE 6 PHRASES AND IT LETS ME GO:
1. My urge to text isn’t about him - it’s about me and my feelings.
It’s about the part of me that’s looking for comfort from the pain and the memories, hoping things could have been different.
2. He won’t change because of my message.
Even if I tell him everything I feel all over again, it won’t make him see me differently or act any differently.
3. If he wanted to be here, he wouldn’t need a reminder.
Real feelings don’t need constant proof or reminders. He’d find the time, the energy, the resources to be around. The more! push myself on him, the more I lower my worth in his eyes. It only makes me easy and convenient - and that’s not something he values.
4. I deserve the silence, so I can hear myself.
I choose to stay alone with my own feelings and thoughts, to find the answers within myself - not in his words or his opinion.
5. Every message is a return to the place where I was hurt.
I’ve already been through this. When I text him, I’m just opening the door to that same pain instead of closing the chapter and no longer fooling myself with illusions - giving another chance to something that always ends the same way.
6.I can withstand this pain and live through it.
My life has had all kinds of situations, and l’ve gotten through every one of them, finding the strength to move on. I’ll manage now too. The body knows how to recover, like after an illness - and right now everything is healing. What matters most is being gentle with myself and my self-worth.

that was awesome I thank you for posting that
im glad you enjoyed it i hope your healing journey is progressing 🫂
deleting and rewriting texts to my ex over and over, hoping one perfect message would finally make him understand. it hurt accepting that my words couldn’t make someone choose me.
I think this is the hardest part for me to understand as well 😕 I wanted to have him choose me soo badly that when he didnt it hurt like hell but that is what I needed to finally move on or try to at least
yeah i seen this on facebook too. I really like it
used to think no contact was about being strong, but for me it was about protecting the parts of me that kept getting hurt. when i wanted to reach out, i started asking “will this bring peace or reopen the wound?”
this is a really good way of thinking of things Im gonna use it next time
when you get the urge to text him, what part of you is usually reaching out most, the part that misses him or the part that wants answers?
I think its my ego the part that wants to hear that he misses me even tho I know if he told me it would be a lie
thanks girlie
