it’s my birthday in a couple of days.
and I don’t have anyone to share it with also a big birthday.
I really don’t have anyone I’m not saying it to get pity.
how do you guys deal with the loneliness we were so utterly involved in each other lives their friends were my friends family etc etc
I’ve literally lost everything.

This year I spent my birthday crying in bed. I just had to do what my body needed me to do. Next year I know my birthday won’t be like that, and neither will yours! You can even celebrate your milestone birthday a year from now ❤️
that’s a very good point. maybe it’s the first of everything that I need to get used to.
@poundcaker I think so, it’s hard for me too but day by day we face those firsts one at a time and we’ll get stronger as we go
@VibeDream104 yes thanks for that perspective. I mean I cannot change that we won’t be doing all those things together but I can start seeing it as firsts again.
i had one birthday right after my breakup where i just sat in my apartment staring at my phone, hoping someone would remember. losing your person AND the life around them feels brutal

book yourself in for a pamper day. get your nails done or a massage, organize lunch with someone. see a movie. do a fun class. I always spend my birthday alone doing these types of things.
I’ll just go to the beach and read and swim.
