he knows how bad the situation is but he still don't reach out to know how is it going for me

i couldn't keep looking for care from someone who kept choosing not to show it. that was a hard truth, but it finally gave me some peace.

has he gone quiet like this before, or does this feel different because of what's happening with the fires?
well we only talked twice since the end of the situationship, one cuz i had to send him his belongings and the second cuz i wanted to see him one last time but he refused. so yea we're really in no contact, but it's harder now knowing he doesn't even want to know if i'm okay
waiting for one text when there were storms where i lived, just a simple "are you okay?" and it never came. that silence told me more than any argument ever did
really showing how they doesn't care... i hope you were okay and still are
please accept that not reaching out means what it is. if they wanted to they would. forgive yourself for wanting to be healed by someone who can hurt you so easily. everyone has at least common sense and even a stranger would reach out regarding actual fire. stay safe and take care of yourself. I hope you are okay.
that's actually healing me, and you're right, everyone would reach out in case of fire, so thank you for your words, i will detach harder now

Firstly I hope you and your family are safe sorry to hear about the fires , that sounds pretty scary. It's unfortunate that your boyfriend has not checked in on you that's not a nice feeling I imagine. Try to remember that there are other ppl that do care . Please stay safe .
