the first birthday i didn't text my ex, i stared at my phone for HOURS. getting through the day without reaching out felt impossible, but i was so proud of myself after.
birthdays are such a huge trigger. honestly, i stopped looking at it like "i didn't wish them" and started seeing it as "i kept the promise i made to myself." that shift helped me more than i expected. ❤️

you don’t need to wish him. maybe who knows he is expecting you to say it ^^ just let him be for a while
