our break up was the 7th of July.
no contact started on the 11th.
just moved to England a few days ago and a man of my uni i was talking to a little during summer learned it and proposed me to drink wine in his dorm (he's 17 so too young for pub, 18 in one month), i'm 19 don't worry
i accepted and i am pretty excited cuz i was moving on few days ago.
but is it normal to feel that bad to move on with someone knew ?
when he was already posting another girl mid July lol

i’d let yourself enjoy the date without making it mean anything bigger than tonight. i remember trying to put rules around how soon i was “allowed” to move on, and it just made me feel worse.
i love that, i enjoyed it without even really thinking at all of that, i was relieved
that weird guilt when you’re excited about someone new and part of you still feels like you’re betraying your ex. meanwhile mine was already flirting with someone else, and i was sitting there wondering if i was even allowed to smile again lol.
you are allowed to even so much more ❤️
are you feeling bad because you still want your ex, or because moving on makes the breakup feel more real?
because it makes it feel more real, but it helped me moving on
good luck with your date! hope it goes well, even if it doesnt, its good practice getting yourself back out there
it was truly wonderful :) thanks you <3
How long were you two together?
It's normal to feed bad, but at the end of the day, you need to do what makes you happy too, especially if it means moving on. If you feel ready to move on with someone new, go for it!
only 3 months, hurt more than my 2 years relationship end. but yes i'm glad i went to this date !!
