today is my birthday. september 19th. you know it. you always remember. you were preparing gifts for me. its 01.24 and still there is no message. i wonder if you hate me right now. i am happy with or without you but am i that worthless to not say happy bday.

i’ve had a birthday like this, staring at my phone because one message from them suddenly felt like it could decide how loved i was. i kept telling myself i was fine, but that silence still hurt like hell.
