Why do i feel guilt after coming out as pansexual?

I got a boyfriend today but I feel so much guilt about it.. I've claimed to be lesbian for like 2-3 years and ive always been very very open about it, ive told family members and friends that id never date a boy but I am I just dont know what to feel because I feel like i was faking being a lesbian but I know deep down I wasnt. I'm now Pansexual but I just feel SO much guilt and I hate it... maybe I should identify as queer or unlabelled I dont know... I just have too much guilt... :(

i felt like an absolute fraud who had lied to everyone in my life, but your identity evolving doesn't mean you were ever faking anything

relabeling yourself right this second isn't something you need to force while your mind is racing. giving myself permission to just say "i like who i like right now" without picking a strict word took so much pressure off my shoulders.

you feeling more nervous about what your friends and family will say, or is it mostly just that internal war with yourself?

where do you feel the guilt is stemming from? Love is boundless, we can fall in love with a person, gender doesnt have to define who we fall in love with. Just because you once aligned with a label, doesnt mean you have to carry it with you for all of time.

i feel the guilt is more with me changing my sexuality and not only being attracted to women like I used to be

@sofxpalewaves you need to realise you haven't done anything wrong, therefore there shouldn't be any guilt. I think you are been judgemental with yourself when you should be holding compassion
