Me and my ex kept in contact two weeks after the break up and he would hint at small things about like getting back together reposting videos about missing his ex me and just kind of like telling me in a weird way that he wants me back like calling me crying need comfort but then it’s now been about four weeks maybe three and he’s already asked another girl to homecoming and said he’s talking to someone else

i remember how badly i wanted to read those reposts and late-night calls as proof he still wanted me.
mine kept giving me little signs that made me think we were finding our way back, then suddenly he was talking to someone else. that whiplash hurt like hell because i had been holding onto every tiny bit of hope.
i can see why you’re confused. when he was calling you crying and hinting about getting back together, did he ever actually say he wanted to try again, or was it always left vague?
yeah he said he would find his way back to me but then something just switched and he’s all of a sudden seeing someone new and got mad at me for going to a party and that’s what made him unadd me and block me in everything besides iMessages so I’m js so confused
