My ex broke up with me one month ago but I grieved this relationship for a whole other month, so make it TWO months ago.
He is not a bad guy and we didn't broke up on bad terms... he just didn't love me and that definitely broke my heart.
I've been through the tears stage, the rage stage, the kinda-okay-let's-laugh-about-it stage and now i'm in a idk stage. Looking back at it, I know now that we probably really didn't work that well, we had our issues but I still care about him and I feel bad for trying to move on.
I know I will probably care about him for the longest time, he was probably the realest relationship I ever had but I also really want to be able to move on. I know now that I deserved better than this, I don't want to cry anymore.

That feeling is normal, I have felt it too, for me it has been 4 months since the breakup and I can't think of kissing someone else, but it is ok, life can be about me for a while, we are not forced to be in pairs like socks all the time, and right now we need our time and space to take care of ourselves.
You can bet that someday sooner than later you will think of him with kindness but you will feel ready to meet someone and let that person know how much you are able to love. Take care ❤️🩹
you think the guilt comes from feeling like you're leaving him behind, or is it more about letting go of what you hoped you two would be
i genuinely don't know. the last two months were bad for my heart but i feel like if I actually try to move on (more than one persons is reaching out to me and im not really opposed to the idea) i would idk "betray him"? i gaslight myself into thinking that he could reach out any moment and the possibility of me not being there is terrifying to me right now
when i felt bad for moving on was reminding myself that caring about him doesn't mean i owe him my future. you can wish someone well and still choose to build a life where you get the love you actually deserve.
this is gen one of the best advise i heard in a month, ty! hope you're doing fine
my ex was a good guy too and didn't love me back the way i loved him, and it left me feeling so guilty for wanting to move past someone who never actually maliciously hurt me
this is exactly my situation, like it would be SO much easier if I had an actual reason to hate him
you do deserve better. i am happy for you. don't feel guilty for being ready to move forward. you have been through pain. you can miss him and heal and move on. good luck
