when you say you chose them… do you mean you’d still take them back, or you just mean emotionally you’re still holding on?

that line hurts deep. choosing someone who didn’t choose me used to drain everything out of me. sometimes the real power is in choosing yourself next time.

i used to tell myself “i choose you even if you don’t choose me” like it made me strong or something. but really it just broke me more every time
