when I began relationship with my bf I told him I never had a proper relationship..I did had a talking stage but never dated anyone like never went on a date after 9 months of relationship...we were having arguments actually from a little while..night before yesterday I told him that I had an online rel before u about 5 years ago and he started becoming very aggressive over that said that I deceived him which was not my intention I just didn't wanted him to judge me and I was the one who told him when I thought the timing was right but he felt like I deceived him by not telling it to him earlier..he said our whole rel was based on a lie and deception that's why I never dated anyone cuz that's what happens and when I tried to explain he told me to not....and just not talk to him anymore..he thought I am trying to prove myself right that's what I always do but I was just trying to tell him the reason why I did that so that he could stop calling out rel a deception and he has been silent and said not to talk ...and he thinks that's what I always do make a mistake and then play Innocent I know I didn't told him the whole truth but I didn't completely lie either but he is not ready to give up at all he has thoughts about I don't know what kind of things happened btw me and the other guy and he doesn't believe anything I say now

he does it almost all time but this one was a very intense one
honestly when someone decides you’re lying, sometimes they stop listening completely.
this sounds exhausting. i had something similar happen where i told my ex about a past thing months into the relationship and he acted like i’d hidden some huge secret. i remember feeling so misunderstood, like nothing i said could fix the story he already made up in his head.
