seeing an ex regularly and pretending they're just another person in the room took WAY more energy than anyone around me realized. those little sightings used to throw off my whole day.
you see him now, do you still feel something in the moment or has it started to feel more numb than painful?
if acting like he doesn't exist is what gets you through the workday right now, i get it. i had to keep things very surface level with my ex for a long time because every interaction pulled me right back in.
I just don't wanna see or hear about him anymore.
