When you like someone and they didn’t like you back until after they find out you like them, are the feelings mutual then? they didn’t think much at first but as you spend more time together, they sort of feel an infatuation towards you. do they like the idea of you liking them or do they actually feel something? did they feel it even once?

i don't think there's one answer. for me the only thing that mattered was whether their effort stayed the same after the excitement wore off, because that's where i could tell if it was ME they liked or just the attention.
what happened after they started showing interest? did they keep choosing you consistently, or did it fade once they knew they had your feelings?
they still spend time with me despite the rejection and they chose me as a friend but things got complicated once attraction grew stronger
i've actually been on the other side of this. i didn't notice someone that way at first, then after spending more time together i caught real feelings. sometimes attraction really does grow, it isn't always there from day one.
would you say that these feelings came from attraction or infatuation
getting to know a prospective partner should be an exicting and meaningful experience. Enjoy your time together...Learn as much as you can about each other and don't rush to put a label on what you do or don't feel towards each other. Take the time and be patient, so if you decide you are not right for each other you can identify what went wrong..
it dépends on the person
only they can probably answer that question
