We broke up last Nov 2024 but were still in contact ever since. We still acted like a couple until this month, I just found out that he already has a new girl since March 2025. I confronted him and he told me he was scared to tell me the truth since he did not want us to be strangers again. To add, he also said that he could not take it that I might hurt myself.

hi! have been clean since the break up. thank you for asking :) but seems like it’s just his escape goat to rationalized why he kept the truth from me. I have been asking him numerous times if there’s another girl since Dec 2024 because it felt like he was always walking on eggshells whenever we go out. Asked him again this month (before I knew that there was indeed another girl) but he kept on saying that there’s none. It’s kinda off coz it seems like he was shifting the prob on to me. But yeah i have my friends who have been reaching out and constantly checking on me. Thank youuu
this hurt to read. when someone keeps you as their safety net while they’re with someone else it’s emotional cheating plain and simple. what helped me was going full no contact, deleting pics, and leaning on a few friends to rant to. it felt harsh at first but it stopped me from waiting for him to choose me. protect your energy you don’t owe him explanations for his cowardice. ❤️
yeah. he did not even say sorry. just told me na what he did was wrong and that he’s accountable for it. i was really angry. blocked him to finally end things.
same. i stayed in contact with my ex after we broke up too kept acting like we were still together then found out he moved on. that betrayal gutted me. i feel this in my bones. 😭

I think hes just keeping u around in case his current relationship didn't work out. Leave him and find someone who doesn't keep u like an option
Yeah. Actually ended things with him coz it’s very unhealthy anymore but he kept on messaging me. I did not reply anymore, only to find out that there was a new girl.
