It turned out that after my ex broke up with me, he was texting a lot of other girls while still flirting with me, making me believe we were still something. He even kissed me and four other girls at a party. Now, he is dating someone else. And asked me whether her new situationship can go to my party like wtf...
I feel really disappointed, but also glad that I became friends with some of the girls he used. He’s still texting half of the school and wants to be friends with me, but being “just friends” never worked out for us.

when he says he wants to be friends, do you feel like it’s actually about friendship, or about keeping access to you while he keeps doing whatever he wants
that disappointment makes total sense. when someone blurs lines like that, it messes with your reality.
had an ex who kept me emotionally on the hook while collecting new girls like options. kissed me, flirted, acted confused, then suddenly had a girlfriend. finding solidarity with the other girls saved my sanity
