when you picture going back again, do you feel excited and safe, or mostly anxious that they’ll hurt you the same way all over again?
i went back to my ex so many times after cheating and lies that i stopped telling my friends because i felt embarrassed. you’re not stupid. when someone hurts you and comforts you in the same cycle, your brain gets so tangled in it
It’s like everyone is saying- it’s a dopamine addiction and trauma bonding. It’s science.
Write the pros and cons of your relationship with this person and put it on the fridge or the wall. What’s leading- pros or cons? (we already know the answer).
Next time, when you have the urge to go back to your ex, look at that paper BEFORE you reach out to them.

its a dopamine loop. There once was a time they made us feel safe, so we go searching for that again
Trauma bonding or you just feel like if you leave you'll find worse so it's better to stay with that one which is not true at all
I can relate and I can agree with BrightSide, I feel like I have no self worth, I am constantly asking my self why, what's wrong with me, what did I ever do so wrong to deserve this ect. I can't even hardly leave my home much anymore
Because we have no self worth :( until we learn we are enough without it we are doomed
