Why i still search for you everywhere i go

i almost thought i saw him at a shop and my heart dropped but when i saw it wasnt him i was fine but the thought that my brain immediately went to the thought of him

if you did see them tomorrow, what do you think would hit harder, seeing them happy or realizing they feel like a stranger now?

i missed the person and feared the pain at the same time, both feelings were true and i stopped fighting them.

after my breakup i'd catch myself scanning every crowd for him, then panic at the thought of actually seeing him. it's such a weird place to be in
