my ex of three years has seemingly now started seeing a new girl 3 weeks after he broke up with me. she is our mutual friend / acquaintance and i have him blocked but saw on her instagram that they were having dinner together. i feel so betrayed and angry at the both of them. i had vocalized my insecurity about this one girl to him during the relationship and he always told me not to worry about her. and the worst part is that i was the girl he started seeing a month after his previous three year relationship ended… i am angry and sad and disappointed, i didn’t think he would be this careless. and that my intuition about her was right. it feels horrible and cruel. i was feeling fine before this and no contact was working, i wont reach out now even though i really want to call him out. honestly most of all im angry and just shocked that this is what he chose to do. honestly our relationship was great and i was really wishing him the best but this feels like it overshadows everything.

are you more hurt by him being with her, or by realizing that your concerns during the relationship may not have been taken as seriously as he made you believe?
i had an ex who kept telling me a certain girl was "just a friend" and then they were together almost immediately after we split. that mix of betrayal and being proven right is a special kind of pain
sorry to hear that you are going through this hard time.
my ex did something similar and is now sleeping with a guy she told me not to worry about.
its best for us to move on and try and focus on ourselves and our lives. and maybe one day we will find someone who's really for us.
sorry 🥺
in my experience the person on the other end isn’t always over you. for me I went off to college and felt our relationship was off and broke up with him. because of my own issues I couldn’t be alone and got into a relationship quickly after. it wasn’t until 6 months later (now) that I realize I never did get over my ex and I was hiding from my feelings. he may be stuck in that loop too and it has nothing to do with you or your worth. hope that helps:)
this could give people too much hope. I do believe my ex may be in this same loop. shes younger, naive and she jumped into a relationship with a new guy straight after us taking a "break".
