We broke up on the 27th of August. Then, a week later, I tried convincing her to stay, but she said I had hurt her. Even so, we were both nice to each other. There were no insults or arguments, just pure kindness. But when we finished talking, she blocked me, and that made me feel really guilty about myself.
At the beginning, the breakup hit me really hard. I cried and cried. Even now, I still cry sometimes. Just one night ago, I cried again. I also reposted sad things, secretly hoping she would see them.
However, about a week ago, she randomly unblocked me. She viewed my profile, I viewed hers, and then she viewed mine again. Since then, nothing. No contact, no more profile views.
I don’t know what that could mean. During the breakup, she literally told me that she was sure of her decision and that we should go our separate ways. I’m accepting it, and I feel like I’m about 40–50% of the way toward accepting the breakup, but I still don’t know how to interpret what happened.
I know what she said, and I’m only just starting to move on. But at the same time, I still feel something. Maybe she unblocked me because she doesn’t care anymore. Maybe there’s another reason. Honestly, I really don’t know what to do.
Her birthday is also coming up in a week, so I was thinking about simply wishing her a happy birthday. I know we’re probably not going to get back together, so I wouldn’t be doing it because I expect anything from her. I’d just be doing it out of respect.

she block you on everything back in august, or was it just one app where she recently unblocked you
everything
honestly, skip sending that birthday text. reaching out when you're still processing that guilt will just reopen the wound and leave you sitting by your phone waiting for a response that probably won't give you what you want.
my ex unblocked me out of nowhere four months after dumping me, and i spent two full weeks obsessing over every profile view and trying to decipher what it meant, only to realize it was just breadcrumbs that sent me right back to step one.
