i’ve learned that someone choosing themselves can still hurt you deeply. i had to stop begging someone to choose us and start choosing me too.

He told me that maybe someday we could still be together, but right now, he feels like he has nothing to offer. I told him it was okay and that I just wanted to be by his side. But at the end of the conversation, he just told me to block him so I could move on
