we broke up 4 weeks ago and we were together 5 years he told me he still loves me and misses me but he goes hot and cold hes going to scotland for work for a few months and running from everything im completely heartbroken and feel like it could be fixed but i cant stand in his way if this is what he really wants i just wish he could see i would of waited and supported him i really believe he was my person

five years and then hearing “i still love you” while he keeps going hot and cold would wreck me too. i remember clinging to those little signs from my ex because i wanted so badly to believe there was still a way back.
