Two months post-breakup the heavy crying has slowed down but I still reflexively hope it’s his text every time my phone lights up. He gave me the deepest connection I’ve ever felt and I miss him so much. At the same time I know we couldn't fix things because he lied to me multiple times. I just wish we could have had a different ending.
How do you get past grieving a deep connection when you know the trust was broken?

days, feel pretty okay. The first few weeks were honestly an emotional rollercoaster. I don’t miss him as much now, but I still think about him every single day.
3 months, started to feel like shit again
I was at the same point as you where I was not crying as much anymore and feeling improvement. I made the mistake this week to break no contact to find out she's dating someone else and it completely set me back to square one. I feel worse than at the start of the breakup because all 'hope' I had is crushed.
I still cry quite often, but ive welcomed it as it helps let out all my emotions. Im able to fight the urge of reaching out now. Still going to the gym, going to collage, going out with friends. Even laughing sometimes. Do i still love her? Yes. Do i still miss her? Absolutely. But im not having chest pain as often haha
same here, but I really think we don’t. trust is the one thing that can be broken but never heals properly. even though it hurts like hell
I now acknowledge I miss the romanticized version of him; I was miserable with him. He did me a favour by breaking up with me. I miss him yes but he was very mean and cruel to me I got sick too (physically and mentally).
