he keeps apologising. he still wants to check in hear updates about my life and know how my recovery is going.
he says he wants us to talk everything through when things feel less raw but i have no idea when that will be. a month? a year? i honestly don't know.
then he apologised again for texting and said he needs to let go of the love he has for me but he can't stop thinking about me. he says he's worried about me and that he still cares.
he's right to be worried. it's been 18 days since i found out he was married and i've lost 4kg since then. i can barely look at food without feeling like i'm going to throw up. i cry constantly. every night i dream about him and every morning i wake up and have to lose him all over again.
i've planned a trip to visit a friend and i'm hoping talking to her will help me get through some of this.
the strange part is that she's in the same city he used to live in. he won't be there but i'm planning to do all the things he once promised we'd do together on my own this time.
maybe i can take those memories back for myself. maybe that will help me heal.

i really hope the trip gives you a little breathing room. do you think doing those things you once planned with him could help you reclaim them, or might it feel too close to him right now?
when my ex kept checking in after hurting me, every message felt like reopening the wound, even when i knew he cared. 18 days is so fresh, no wonder you're struggling this badly.
I'm sorry but he is just sorry he got caught... he liked this relationship as much as you did and is banking on the fact that you are so in love with him(he knows it) that you'll eventually cave and get back with him because he knows he has that kind of power over you as he is your dom.
