I was stuck wanting him back was reminding myself that i was actually grieving the 11 years of memories and safety, not the person he turned out to be when he broke my trust.
11 years is such a massive part of your life. i stayed with my ex after he cheated because the thought of letting go of seven years felt scarier than the actual betrayal, so I get why your heart is still clinging to him.
