I broke a couple of months of no contact during a weak moment and it was a massive mistake. I called my ex in a bad headspace cried and told her how lonely and difficult my life has been since the breakup. Instead of showing an ounce of empathy she scoffed and went on a monologue telling me to "buck up" and that she couldn't care less if I was struggling.
Her exact words were "That's life dude. You need to figure it out and cry alone because nobody wants to be your therapist." Her voice was ice cold and it felt like crying to someone who couldn't give less of a shit about me.
Take it from me DO NOT BREAK NO CONTACT. Reaching out won't bring you comfort it will only bring you pain. If they cared about you they would be the ones reaching out.

you cant heal in the same place that hurt you. I'm sorry you are feeling this pain, It's a painful lesson to learn.
Same thing happened to me basically, broke no contact after a month and mind you, this was someone I was in a relationship
it hurts right now, but her coldness is a massive gift to your future self. lcok the door, never look back and throw away the key.
yeh it such a weird feeling. The person that once was so kind and caring now could care less how bad you are hurting. I remember when I broke no contact, she was so cold and said a lot of mean things.
Lesson learned. Thank you for sharing this🙏🫂. I was actually thinking of texting him on his birthday and sending him some of the soft copies he had asked me to give him when we were still good , despite the fact that he ignored my calls and messages when I wanted to ask him something back then. This has reminded me why I need to keep choosing myself and maintaining no contact. It's really not worth it.
