Sundays are hard I used to cook breakfast for my wife. I miss her being here with me. I'm slowly learning how to live on my own and be by myself. and I actually went and spent some time down by the river today. I sat in the Sun and I looked around in the rocks for arrowheads and artifacts didn't find anything. but it helps me to spend some time some quality time with myself. I'm slowly starting to realize that this is the way it is. she's not coming back. and I've got to go forward with the present moment and try to live in the present moment as best as I can. 5 months no contact from the divorce and I'm still having emotional moments. we've been separated for 8 months we're only together for five. but I knew her for years and years and years. I think of our wedding vows and what she said during our wedding and I know what the time she felt that. but she no longer feels that and I'm facing that fact. it still can be hard.

you feel like those quiet moments by the river are starting to give you a little bit of peace, even when the heavy feelings creep back in?
Amen! Stay strong.
It is hard to accept, but the more you make new memories and realise life keeps going and not judge yourself… the easier it becomes.
i am so sorry. be strong. going out is great. it's not fair but i am hoping the acceptance part of this pain finds you soon. everyone deserves to be happy. good luck
suns going down. I'm sad
I can relate to having to relearn to be on your own and missing your companion and the rituals you had together. good on you for heading into nature for that quality time with yourself. you’re making it.
I feel for you deeply. I can't even imagine how hard this has been and still is. love is very scary. I'm glad you are on here and reaching out in this community. you are an absolute warrior! I just prayed for you, that God will bless you today and this whole next week. stay strong. your post encouraged me today, thank you.
