checking for signs and reading into every little thing because i wanted him to miss me the way i missed him. i had to stop measuring my worth by whether my ex reached out
they give you any reason to believe they might come back, or have you been holding onto that hope on your own?
hoping for that one message that would prove i still mattered to them. that waiting felt heavier than the breakup itself.
I know the feeling, and it hurts like hell.
And I know this probably doesn’t help at all, but try to remember that what they do, doesn’t show a thing about who you are.
You can be the most loving, caring and wonderful person. And someone can still choose not to appreciate that, but you still have those qualities. You are worth more than what someone did to you.
I had the same thoughts, but we never really know what's on their head. keep holding on 💙
