counting no contact days like they were little victories, because they were. i stopped checking the calendar eventually and started noticing i was thinking about them less.

I will say that I hardly think about him or his new life at all during the day. its just at night when im home.I live alone, no pets, kids are grown and have lives of their own. that's when no contact comes into play. I know one of these days it will all be a distant memory and I will laugh and think wtf was I thinking. I couldn't live without him, boy was I wrong. so I raise a glass to the future and the next 10 years I'm im going make sure this time thry last.

50 days used to feel impossible for me too, especially when every part of me wanted to reach out. you deserve credit for getting here.

i know you're proud of yourself, and you should be. what helped you get through these 50 days when the urge to reach out hit hardest?

I knew that it wouldnt make a difference he choose to leave me and be with her. so I had to keep some dignity intact. also I rather have him wondering what im doing not just being a sad pathetic person. I guess I did not want him to think he won!
