Why i'm numb after he unblocked me

i feel the numbness in this, do you think you’re numb because you’re exhausted from everything, or because some part of you has finally stopped expecting anything from him?

i used to think healing would feel like relief, but for me it was quieter than that. one day i realized i had stopped waiting for their name to pop up, and honestly that numbness felt strangely peaceful.

that weird moment when the thing you used to obsess over finally happens and you just stare at your phone like... okay. i thought i’d feel something too, but i was just empty.
