i used to dread anniversaries and monthsaries, so i started treating those days like any other day instead of letting the date decide how i felt.
i’m really sorry you went through physical and emotional hurt, do you have someone you trust who can be with you tomorrow when that date comes around?
those dates can hit so damn hard even when you know the relationship hurt you. i remember crying over someone who had hurt me too, then feeling guilty because a part of me still missed the good moments.
