When your heartbreak leaves you begging for clarity

I had experienced this recently. I confessed and she said she sees me as brother after giving all those mixed signals and she has audacity to question me like when did she gave mixed signals to me and how dare I tell her my feelings.

we were in a two years relationship & I begged for a year because he would leave me everytime he claimed to have problems.

i’ve been there with someone who kept me guessing then switched up and said they felt nothing. i remember begging too, that part really HURT

honestly i had to stop chasing any kind of clarity from them, it only kept me stuck. i started pulling my energy back even when it felt wrong.

when you look back, do you feel like they knew exactly what they were doing with those mixed signals or were they just confused themselves?
