me and my ex were long distance and on and off for about six months. she ghosted me a few times talked to other girls even left me for them. we hadn’t spoken for over a month when suddenly i saw she shared her location and she was in my city.
later she admitted she did it just to get my attention and asked to meet. i didn’t want to at first but i went anyway.
we spent the whole night walking around holding hands hugging she kept saying she liked me loved me. i asked why she does this and she just said she does stupid things and doesn’t know why. i told her i’m done with the games i don’t want to be a second choice but she said she’s confused between me and another girl.
the next day she sent me a long message saying sorry that she can’t give me what i deserve and hopes i find someone better.
i’m heartbroken all over again. she already left me once in december. after everything that night the closeness the way she played with my hair she still chose someone else because of the distance.
she’s the most beautiful woman i’ve ever seen and i’m in so much pain. i also feel embarrassed that i let myself be that soft with her again and she still didn’t choose me.

man, i get why you went, anyone would after that kind of pull. what helped me was cutting it clean even when it hurt, because every “one last time” kept resetting my healing.
i’ve been in that loop where they come back, say all the right things, give you JUST enough, then leave again
you’d still want her if she came back again tomorrow, or is it more about how that night made you feel?
