It's been 1 month we are over, at the end he gave me a ending letter.
I send one back, not to actually respond but to do the same.
We no longer talk but I reach out to his friend asking if my ex received my letter he said He did and he wanted to send one back
he also told me that He asks news about me
but like I don't get the point to send another letter ? I mean it could be cute but why reopen the break up ? I wonder what he would tell me but I think this has no purpose at all..
He is the one that left btw

i don’t think you’re wrong for questioning the point of another letter. if i’m being real, sometimes people reach back out because they miss the comfort of you, not because they actually want to rebuild what they broke.
you already knows reading another letter would reopen wounds you’ve barely started closing?
my ex used to keep little lines of communication open after HE ended things too, and it kept me stuck wondering if it meant regret or just guilt. those “i still ask about you” things can mess with your head so badly.
some boys do it.they want to keep option.Just like "Have your cake and Eat it". u can stop it by focussing on imp.things im ur life
you don’t have to send a letter, maybe he’s doing it for his ego or real feelings. regardless if it means nothing for you just accept it and remain no contact.
