treating no contact as something i was doing for ME, not as a way to get an apology or a reunion. once i stopped waiting for a certain outcome, i started feeling a little lighter.

i kept telling myself that if i stayed in no contact long enough, he'd remember my value and come back. sometimes they do reach out, sometimes they don't, and that uncertainty can keep you stuck for a long time

like frost suggested. you shouldn't consider this man as something you want in your future. you should stop focus on yourself and maybe a winner will come by and swoop you off your feet.
this is going to sound mean, but you don't want him back, if he didn't appreciate you the first time, the only time he will appreciate you the second time is because he realised what you brought to the table, not because realised how much he loved you, the second someone comes along who can offer more, not from a looks it personality sence, I mean as in which ever way he took you for granted, he will go to them instead, because to him, the grass will look greener, although it won't me
