i wasn’t making emotional choices in the moment. honestly, a little awkwardness is normal, you don’t have to perform being totally fine.
i spent an entire weekend knowing my ex might show up and i built it up so much in my head that the anxiety was worse than actually seeing him if it happens, a simple hello and then getting back to your vacation is more than enough.

Both. The feelings are fading but I just want things to go smoothly
