it has been going well the past week, I've been making progress is knowing the difference between what I want and what the best for me is. and I am starting to different the two. it is still hard to come to terms with it. I still have my fears, the main one is that she never loved me. and it still weighs heavy on my heart. and tbh I can't answer it. that's fear was represented through my dream last night, In which she said she never had me in her heart. I felt the whole dream shut down and I woke up and I couldn't breathe, I couldn't stop crying. I feel like the wound has been ripped back open from this, it just makes me feel so awful, and I don't know how to move forward

i don't have to answer every painful question my brain throws at me, especially the ones that start at 3 a.m. or after a nightmare. some questions just don't have an answer, and i stopped letting that stop me from healing.
i used to wake up from dreams convinced my ex had finally told me the truth, and it ruined my whole day. dreams can drag our biggest fears to the surface, but they aren't proof that those fears are real.
that dream sounds SO real. did something happen recently that brought this fear back, or do you think your mind is just trying to make sense of losing someone you still loved?
I haven't had anything kind of contact, or know what's up with her for a while, so I think it's just my mind going through the motions and trying different things to cope
keep your head up, keep moving forward, and know you're not alone friend ❤️
