So my bf of 5 days took me to a bar that he likes, proceeds to get super drunk and fell asleep in his car leaving me to be in the company of his friend and his friend's girl. It was super embarrassing. His friend offered to take me home but I said its too late because my parents were strict with locking their door at 11 pm. I then told him to just take me to a hotel to book a room for whenever he decides to get up he won't have to drive to another region just to get home. He eventually got there at the hotel an hour after and kept saying he wasn't drunk and that he was just tired. He WAS drunk. Now he's saying I should've stayed and slept in the car with him. Smh

five days in, i would've paid close attention to this because how someone treats me when they're drunk usually tells me a lot about how safe i feel with them.
when he sobered up the next day, did he actually apologize for leaving you there, or was he still trying to make it sound like you were the problem?
this made me cringe for you. 😕 i dated someone who always had an excuse after nights like this, and somehow i ended up apologizing instead. you didn't deserve to be left on your own like that.
